Currently the center is seeking candidates for the position:
Responsibilities:
- Active participation in preparations and practical and theoretical training in terms of transition and take-over of processes
- Participation in the transition of accounting processes to FMC SSC from local FMC organisations (EMEA area)
- Creating accounting processes procedures, with attention to timeliness and quality of performance
- Creating process maps, with attention to timeliness and quality of performance
- Active participation and involvement in the process of knowledge transfer from the local organisation
Day-to-day activities within the scope of accounts receivable, in particular:
- Handling incoming payments
- Contacting customers to clarify incoming payments details
- Reviewing recipients’ accounts and preparing payment requests
- Maintaining and updating the customer base
- Confirming balances with contractors in accordance with the established calendar
- Creating sales invoices in accordance with market requirements
- Analyzing overdue invoices
- Handling bad debt
- Handling long-term receivables
- Clearing intercompany settlements
- Updating contractors’ credit limits
- Preparing and analyzing aging reports
- Updating existing procedures from the O2C area
Requirements:
- Ability to read write and communicate in Slovak/Czech and English in business setting
- Ability/willingness to travel, taking part in the transition ( IV quarter of 2017)
- Experience in accountancy or/and higher education in finance/accountancy
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, knowledge of SAP would be an asset
- Analytical thinking, attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to learn
