Accountant with Hebrew (Accounts Payable)
Workplace: Warszawa
Key responsibilities may include:
- Processing invoices in accordance to client policy and Hebrew accounting standards
- Supporting AP Team Lead in managing a Team of 5 FTE
- Ensuring that internal and external queries related to Accounts Payable are resolved in a timely manner
- Adhering to all process related controls and executing quality work
- Monthly reconciliation of Trade Payables and Vendor Statements
- Treatment of Tax on invoices according to existing client accounting manuals and local GAAP
- Raising, routing and managing invoice exceptions processes with vendors and internal finance
- Review of Payment Proposals with elements of withholding tax checks
- Cooperation with local Finance Team in Israel
- Fluent Hebrew
- Fluent English
- 2-3 years professional experience in accounting – AP or GL
- Educational background in finance, accounting or economy
- Experience in accounting Hebrew VAT, handling pro-forma invoices, and posting tax deduction at source
- Knowledge of WHT tax will be an advantage
- Good Excel skills
- Flexibility during Month End and working according to Israel working week (Sun-Thu)
- Ability to work analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
