Location: Gdansk Wrzeszcz (Neptun Office)
As an accountant you will join our Order to Cash department. You will be handling processes within Collection and Disputes area to secure on time payment of receivables and secure excellent overdue performance through meeting the cash targets.
- Register and resolve disputes and queries from customers
- Follow up on outstanding debts through outbound/inbound calls and other forms of contact
- Ensure all unresolved items are escalated within agreed timeframe
- Provide input for reporting to relevant business units
- Handle dunning internal and external customers
- Support legal activities
- Prepare statements
- Handle invoicing
- Rebates settlement and reconciliation
- Promotions post evaluation
- Monitor invoices schedule and complete daily invoicing and billing run so that customer orders are dispatched and invoiced accurately are on time
- Co-operate with Arla business units
- Train new employees
- Update documentation (SOP, HTG, Visio)
- Other responsibilities as assigned by Team Leader
- You have academic degree in Accounting / Finance or similar area
- Approximately 2 years of experience, including at least 1 year in finance or accounting
- Demonstrate good understanding of accounting principles and tools.
- Ability to follow instructions and standard work processes to perform routine tasks with high quality and in a timely fashion.
- Ability to review documents and files for necessary data, enter appropriate data into systems or files, check records for accuracy and completion and retrieve data to produce reports or answer questions.
